The Pricing Framework for Australian Public Hospital Services 2025–26 is the key strategic document underpinning the National Efficient Price and National Efficient Cost Determinations for the 2025–26 financial year.IHACPA has published the pricing framework prior to releasing the National Efficient Price Determination and National Efficient Cost Determination for 2025–26 in March 2025, to provide an additional layer of transparency and accountability to IHACPA’s pricing decisions.The accompanying Pricing Framework for Australian Public Hospital Services 2025–26 – Consultation Report details feedback received during the public consultation from 8 May 2024 to 7 June 2024.
A fresh new approach to NDIS pricing

In 2024, the Australian Government requested that IHACPA undertake initial work to identify opportunities for future reforms to National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) pricing. This included reviewing existing pricing approaches and developing a pricing data strategy.
