About the webinars
Cost data collection ensures that the costs of aged care are accurately captured, and that pricing advice is directly informed by the costs of delivering care. This helps to ensure funding is sustainable, transparent and meets the needs of older Australians.
We collect cost data from the aged care sector, consult with stakeholders and gather evidence to provide pricing advice to government for residential aged care, residential respite care and Support at Home services.
The webinars presented information including:
- what is cost data collection, how it benefits the aged care sector, and why sector participation is so important
- insight into our role in aged care pricing and costing and what we have learnt from recent cost collections
- details about our future cost collections and how you can participate in the Residential Aged Care Cost Collection 2024 or the Support at Home in Aged Care Cost Collection 2024.
