IHPA Annual Report 2018–19

This report was prepared in accordance with the requirements of the National Health Reform Act 2011 and section 46 of the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013. The report includes IHPA's audited Financial Statements, as required by section 42 of the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act.

The annual report is a formal accountability document that details the activities of the Independent Hospital Pricing Authority (IHPA) from 1 July 2018 – 30 June 2019. IHPA's annual performance statements were prepared in accordance with the requirements of section 39 of the Public Governance, Performance Accountability Act and accurately present the the agency's performance from 1 July 2018 to 30 June 2019.

This report was tabled on 15 October 2019, and it provides Members of Parliament and Senators with an accurate description of IHPA’s activities during the financial year 2018–19. The report also provides a valuable resource of information for IHPA’s stakeholders including the general public.
